{interventions} is a conversation between sound, movement, space and voice. Interpretive scenes within symbolic spaces representative of a particular city engage futures and histories-in-the-moment that are constantly re-producing through otherness, belonging, and being. Working with international performers based in Brussels, I experiment with aleatoric improvisation that blends mixed media --referencing old and new through contemporary experiments on baroque instruments and their exchanges with bodies that reflect point and counterpoint; darkness and light; being and non-being. Exploring selves through masks, ‘contes,’ and ‘chants,’ our interventions critique the politics of cities and art as zones of creation, dissent, and abandonment.
